NL Times tells us that Meta removes stairist’s critical video of employees filmed with company’s glasses:

Meta has removed a video by Dutch stairist Roel Maalderink and privacy organization Bits of Freedom in which they satirically criticize Meta’s smart glasses. The video, in which Maalderink films Meta employees while wearing the glasses, is “bullying,” Meta told AD.

Basically in the video, Maalderink, wearing the Meta “smart glasses”, ask Facebook employees in Amsterdam what they think of the glasses. And it’s not a popular question. And that doesn’t please Meta as they took down the video citing “harassment”. Recording people without consent using this device is ok, until it’s not convenient to Facebook. This while they announce another round of privacy invading products.
