Not so smart fridges
Ars Technica reports Owners mourn spoiled food after firmware update bricks Samsung smart fridges:
Some Samsung smart fridges stopped working on Tuesday due to a firmware update.
It was limited to Korea, Samsung home market, albeit the event occured as a holiday was looming.
Why the hell would a botched firmware update be able to shutdown the fridge? Or better why you would connect a fridge to the internet?
Not so smart, the fridge.
