Futurism reports that CEO Pleads With AI Industry to Stop Charging So Much to Replace Human Labor:

With each passing day without an AI labor revolution, the tech industry’s pricing scheme for AI is becoming more and more disconnected from reality — so much so that even its biggest clients are starting to revolt.

No shit. It’s what we call dumping. These “AI” company are selling it for pennies on the dollar, to get you be convinced it is worth it. It’s the whole con, they are losing billions per quarter and the shit doesn’t even work.

According to a new survey from “Big Four” accounting firm KPMG, a significant number of corporate executives are reeling from sticker shock over new usage-based AI pricing schemes. Though enterprises could once count on AI companies to subsidize the price of large language models via flat-rate contracts, that’s no longer a given, as the rising cost of computational power forces the entire tech sector into a defensive posture.

The whole thing reads like satire, but it’s not.
